Jonathan Yedor, of Counsel

To Jonathan Yedor, of Counsel with Heinrichs & De Gennaro since October, 2007, being an attorney is not just a profession; it’s a central passion in his life, to which he has devoted thirty-five years as a civil trial attorney. He is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1968. He served in the United States Army from 1968-1970, including a tour in Vietnam. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1974, earning membership in the John M. Harlan Society by graduating in the top 10% of his class.

Jonathan began his law practice in the area of insurance defense, and quickly focused on business litigation. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. In 1996, he was awarded a Presidential Citation for his service to the Bar as Special Assistant Disciplinary Counsel. His practice currently is concentrated in Probate litigation, including Will contests, trust and estate disputes, and fiduciary litigation. He is a member of the Texas State Bar, the San Antonio Bar Association, the Texas Bar Foundation and the San Antonio Bar Foundation. In addition to being licensed to practice in Texas, he is licensed in all Federal Districts of Texas as well as the Northern District of Illinois, the District of Colorado, and the Fifth and Sixth Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal.

Although his first love is the practice of law, playing golf and studying history are his favorite pasttimes.
