Maurine “Mo” Heinrichs Shipp

Maurine "Mo" Heinrichs Shipp was born and reared in San Antonio, Texas, and comes from a long line of ranchers and lawyers. In September 2008, she joined Heinrichs & De Gennaro. She received her Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 2002. Mo worked in advertising and public relations before attending St. Mary's University School of Law, where she was active in a number of organizations, earned a spot in Phi Delta Phi Honorary Legal Fraternity, and was a member of the Board of Advocates. She received her Juris Doctor from St. Mary's in 2008.

Mo is currently building her practice, concentrating in Wills, Estate Administration, Probate and Guardianships. She also assists Chris and Jonathan with trial preparation and other aspects of complex Probate and fiduciary litigation.

Mo is a member of the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association and the College of the State Bar of Texas, and was named as one of San Antonio's Rising Stars for 2011 in SA Scene magazine. She teaches an undergraduate class at the University of the Incarnate Word and serves on the University's Planned Giving Committee. Reflecting her family background and many years of involvement with Camp Longhorn in the Texas Hill Country as both camper and counselor, Mo is a skilled horsewoman with a love of the outdoors. She lives in Alamo Heights with her husband Barrett who is also an associate at the firm. Among their shared interests is music, and they have been known on occasion to be talked into singing and playing the guitar together.
